Alice Maida

Alice Maida, MBBS, MPH, currently works with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Malawi, and has most recently served as the country director for the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) Malawi. Prior to joining I-TECH Malawi, Dr. Maida worked with the Ministry of Health in Malawi in various capacities, including a position as a district health officer in the Lilongwe District, which she held for eight years. Dr. Maida holds a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery from the College of Medicine, University of Malawi, and a master of public health from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
